Limited - Results Archaeological Survey Form (Page 5 of 10) Known Cultural Resources - In the project area (cont.): In the general region (summarize): Within a mile of the project area, there are thirty -nine previously documented archaeological sites; twenty -four of which are prehistoric, thirteen of which are historic, one which is multicomponent, and one which is not assigned to a time period. The historic sites consist of agricultural complexes, habitations, trash dumps, and an irrigation ditch. The prehistoric sites include lithic scatters and open camps. One stacked rock cairn site was not assigned to a time period. The majority of these sites have been recommended not eligible to the NRHP. Of the remaining sites, three are NRHP eligible, and ten are recommended "needs data ". In addition, 127 isolated finds of artifacts have been documented. Table 1.
