Species Preferred Varieties Rate Lbs./Acre PLS Seeded/Acre <br /> Planted(Drilled 1) <br /> Totals 14.25 2,570,000 <br /> (59 seeds/sq.ft.) <br /> 5.5 Reclamation Performance Standards <br /> 5.5.1 Establishing Post-Mining Use <br /> Post-mining use of the land is anticipated to be for housing development and below grade <br /> reservoirs. <br /> There will be no Substituted Land to be reclaimed, as defined in Rule 3.1.2. <br /> Mining reclamation is expected to be completed as proposed in the design plan within the <br /> five year timeframe required in Rule 3.1.3. The anticipated schedule indicates slope liner <br /> completion and pit backfill within approximately 20 months. <br /> 5.5.2 Public Use <br /> Design of the reclaimed reservoir slope liners is anticipated for public recreational use of the <br /> lined reservoirs. The crest of the slope liners is designed to slope approximately 2%into the <br /> reservoirs. <br /> It is anticipated Phase 5 will be backfilled to accommodate a new housing development. This <br /> development is expected to offer real estate for purchase or rent. <br /> 5.5.3 Reclamation Measures— Material Handling <br /> Approximate final site grading at the Three Bells Mine is anticipated to occur according to <br /> the following: <br /> 3:1 (H:V)—Reclaimed, lined reservoir slopes <br /> 2%—Lined reservoir crest <br /> 0-5%—Typical reclaimed land slope <br /> All site grading will comply with CO SEO requirements for stable slope reclamation. <br /> Maximum reclaimed slope will be 3:1 (H:V). Reclamation grading measures will comply <br /> with all local and state erosion prevention measures.
