Cemented rock fill was placed in underground <br />compressive strength testing were cast from w <br />W II <br />g #6273 (1245 yd3 total) and #6274(55 yd3 total). Cylinders for <br />6273. Additional remediation is required.. <br />Underground workings #6083 was excavated competent rock, backfilled with structural fill per project <br />specification, and is considered remediated. <br />The concrete cap and CMP stand pipe was <br />shaft backfill. Additional remediation is rep <br />In Storm Water Management <br />Best Management Practices (BMPs) are <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />from working #6153 and was prepared for additional coarse <br />performed. <br />n Field Activities: Observation of construction activ 'es during this reporting period included: Slope grading and fill <br />placement; Ambient and fill temperature monitorini and recording; Underground working remediation and confirmatory <br />drilling; Production drilling and blasting; Testing ai d sampling of SF, SLF, DCF and concrete from UG U6273; Rip rap <br />placement at the Phase 1 pond spillway; and seco idary underdrain installation. <br />In Laboratory Activities: Laboratory testing continue with Permeability, Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, <br />Moisture - Density relationships, gradations, material classification, identifications, and field material sampling were <br />performed during this reporting period. <br />The following samples were collected and returned �o AMEC's laboratory for analysis: <br />> Structural Fill sample numbers SF-81R throug SF -83R <br />' Drain Cover Fill sample numbers DCF 76 through DCF 78 <br />i Soil Liner Fill sample numbers SLF 141 -S throt igh SLF -145S <br />> Test Samples TS -59 though TS-61 (clay from tie WHEX) <br />> Cylinders for compressive strength testing wen cast from working 6273 <br />Note: Samples labeled with the suffix `R" are <br />of Record t QA samples; those without are QC samples. <br />Page 3 of 7 1 MLE2 WE 10 May 2014. doe <br />
