Although Ms Pickford identified a decision date of February 24, 2014, Elam <br />Construction submitted a letter dated February 20, 2014 requesting an extension of this decision date to <br />May 30, 2014. The numbering format in this response letter will align with that in Ms Pickford's letter. <br />1. Elam contracted with Olsson Associates to review and address the Division's concern for impact <br />to Cottonwood trees due to the proposed drawdown during dewatering . Olsson's response, in <br />the form of a Technical Memorandum is included as an attachment to this letter. <br />2. Elam contracted with Western Water and Land to review and address the Division's concern <br />regarding how wells, including the three cited will be protected by impacts. The Technical <br />Memorandum prepared by Western Water and Land addressing this review comment is <br />attached. <br />3. Elam contracted with Western Water and Land to review and address the Division's concern <br />regarding what mitigation measures will be taken in the event unforeseen impacts are <br />experienced by wells. The Technical Memorandum prepared by Western Water and Land <br />addressing this review comment is attached. <br />4. Elam contracted with Western Water and Land to review and address the Division's concern <br />regarding a proposed monitoring plan to correlate actual groundwater movement with the <br />modeled analysis. The Technical Memorandum prepared by Western Water and Land <br />addressing this review comment is attached. <br />
