Mai- 6, 2014 C- 1981 - 010 /Trapper Mine <br />TOPSOIL - Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2, Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.063; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />JLE <br />The Division evaluated topsoil replacement depths on reclamation parcels where Trapper replaced topsoil and <br />seeded during 2013. Specifically, parcels A -A -13, Z -A -13 and K -A -13 were evaluated. The attached May 2014 <br />inspection maps depict the location of the topsoil depth sample points. Using a soil auger and a shovel, a hole was <br />dug at each of the sample points down to spoil material. A tape measure was used to measure the topsoil depth. <br />According to section 4.9.3 of the approved permit the replacement depth required for these parcels is 12 +/- 2 <br />inches. The results of the topsoil depth analysis is below. The location of each of these sample points is recorded <br />in UTM coordinates (Zone 13, NAD 1983).
