following will be the revegetation success criteria for the Carbon Junction Mine: <br />1. Vegetation Cover: Vegetation cover of the reclaimed area will be successful <br />when vegetation cover is 90 percent of the cover standard of 40 percent with 90 <br />percent statistical confidence. <br />2. Herbaceous Production: There is no herbaceous production revegetation success <br />standard. <br />3. Woody Plant Density <br />standard. <br />4. Species Composition: <br />standard. <br />XII. Post - Mining Land Use — Rule 4.16 <br />There is no woody plant density revegetation success <br />There is no species composition revegetation success <br />The Division approved alternative post- mining land uses in 1996 under TR -05. The land <br />uses of industrial- commercial, recreation, and residential were determined to meet the <br />criteria of Rule 4.16.3. <br />XIII. Protection of Fish, Wildlife and Related Environmental Values — Rule 4.18 <br />A. The applicant has proposed the use of persistent pesticides on the site during mining <br />and /or reclamation operations. The Division has approved this usage (4.18(5)(g)). <br />B. Fish and wildlife habitat is not a planned post- mining land use. However, the <br />applicant has selected appropriate plant species and distributions to benefit fish and <br />wildlife (4.18(5)(i)). <br />XIV.
