The locations are shown in the
attachment. I would say worst case would be five days of instrearn work for each station.
The cutthroat species was misclassified several years ago based on incorrect baseline species DNA data.
The USFWS is aware of this. Attached are the most recent report and summary clarifying the species
confusion. Regardless, impacts to the stream have been kept to a minimum and will remain that way for
future projects.
Art Etter P.E.
From: Burgmaier- DNR, Susan [mailto:susan.burgmaier@state.co.us]
Sent: Friday, May 02, 2014 3:48 PM
To: Art Etter; Bill Bear; Jim Stover
Cc: Alysha Hernandez - DNR
Subject: Fwd: Bowie No. 2 Mine C1996083 MR150- Adequacy Review
Gentlemen - Please see the additional comments and request for information from CPW. Please provide DRMS
with a map showing the proposed location of the flume. Please also provide DRMS with an estimate of the time
that BRL will require for in- stream work. I will then forward the information to CPW.
Based on the information that Jim provided to the USFS, it looks like you are proposing to install just one flume.
Is that correct? The MR application indicated that there may be two installations.
Susan L.
