Mine Inflow Study - See Mine Water Discharge Monitoring. <br />Water Consumption Records - Mines with preparation plants or other water consuming <br />operations must record the quantities of water consumed by mine operations. Records should <br />be available through the most recent quarter. <br />BLASTING RECORDS <br />Blasting Publication <br />A blasting schedule must be published in the vicinity of the mine once a year and notice sent to <br />local governments, utilities and residents within half a mile of the blasting area. The publication <br />must include: <br />1. location of blasting area (300 ac max, unless otherwise approved) <br />2. dates and times of blasting <br />3. how access to area is controlled <br />4. types of signals used - warning and all clear (See Rule 4.08.3) <br />Blasting Records <br />Blasting .records must be maintained and available for the preceding three years. Records must <br />include: <br />1. operator's name, <br />2. location, date and time of blast, <br />3. name, signature and license number of blaster, <br />4. ID, direction and distance to nearest dwelling or public building, <br />5. temperature, wind direction, and speed, <br />6. type of material blasted, <br />7. sketch of blasting pattern (number of holes, burden, building and delay <br />pattern), <br />8. diameter and depth of holes, <br />9. type of explosive, <br />10. pounds per hole and maximum pounds per 8 millisecond period, <br />11. type and length of stemming, <br />12. protection used, <br />13. type of delay and delay periods used, <br />14. number of people in blasting crew, <br />15. seismographic and airblast records (if required), <br />16. reasons and conditions for any unscheduled blasts. <br />Division of Mines Explosives Permit <br />A current permit must be available.
