Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
March 27, 2014
Page 2
impact from dewatering has ended, Greeley has offered to continue to provide water service for
six months after dewatering has ended or the pit is lined.
Because of the continued negotiations with the Rodmans, Greeley will not be able to have a
water line installed by April 1, 2014. Greeley will begin the installation of the water line once
Greeley and the Rodmans agree on the terms of the installation and water service. In the interim,
Greeley and the Rodmans discussed Greeley installing the cistern and connecting it to a well to
ensure the Rodmans' water needs are met until a water line is installed. This interim solution is
similar to the solution that was successfully implemented last year.
Once again, we appreciate the opportunity to provide DRMS additional information. Please feel
free to contact me at (970) 336 -4039 or Bill Schenderlein at Blue Earth Solutions at (970) 227-
2803.
Sincerely,
James R.
