12.0. <br />To make up for the removal of topsoil (WFC Extra) from the Johnson property, stockpiled Bench 1 material <br />was selected to place below the topsoil and create a total soil depth of 25 inches. This Bench 1 material <br />was studied by a experts on WFC's behalf and was found to be usable as subsoil. A report to this effect <br />can be seen in Attachment 2.05.4(2)(d) -3. This Bench 1 subsoil will be sampled for quality as it is placed, <br />in the same fashion as the Mixed Topsoil that will be placed atop of it. The Bench 1 subsoil will be rock <br />picked prior to placement to minimize coarse fragment content. Map 2.05.4 -7 shows the material balance <br />of the Bench 1 and Mixed Topsoil placement on the Johnson property (Zone <br />10.0 General Topsoil Handling & Placement Procedures After February 2008 <br />Topsoil will be replaced only on the Morgan Property once the approved postmine contours <br />2rretopography (projected from the top of the overburden) is achieved and when no additional <br />elosturbanceoverburden grading is anticipated. TAII topsoil will not be replated on temporary reelaniation <br />s*tes stich as hatj' read ditches, etit, slopes and fill slopes, pond ernbankments and spillways, and dive i <br />dttchesplacement will be in the final location. Topsoil will not be placed if at is satufated. Teniporafy <br />reclamation sites will be seeded and stabilized as deser4bed in Section 2.85.3(2)(e) Revegetation. Top"" <br />will be replaced within the aforementioned areas once final reelamation is hile saturated. Topsoil <br />shall be replaced along the contour, whenever feasible, to minimize potential erosion and topsoil /spoil <br />interface slippage problems. This practice will be discontinued on steep slopes where the safety of the <br />equipment operator is in jeopardy. <br />August 2013 (PR -08) 2.05.4(2)(d) -23 <br />
