RECLAMATION PLAN
EXHIBIT D
6.3.4 - Final grading will be such that the topography is appropriate to the reclaimed use
of the property, i.e., as rangeland.
north side of themined men. MINING WILL PROGRESS ACROSS THE AREA PREVIOUSLY DISTURBED
BY MINING TO THE BASE OF THE EXISTING HIGHWALL. THIS HIGHWALL IS APPROXIMATELY 20 TO 25
FEET TALL AND WAS CREATED DURING THE LAST MINING EVENT MANY YEARS AGO. WE WILL NOT
DISTURBE THE EXISTING HIGHWALL. SOME SCALING WILL BE NECESSARY TO REMOVED ROCK THAT
IS LOOSE TO PREVENT IT FROM FALLING ONTO THE MINE FLOOR. FROM THE TOE OF THIS HIGHWALL
THE FLOOR WILL BE LOWERED APPROXIMATELY 12 FEET TO A LEVEL CONSISTENT WTTH THE
ROADWAY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE MINE. AT NO TIME WILL A 40 TO 50 FOOT HIGHWALL BE
CONSTRUCTED AT THE MINE. The floor will be a gentle slope from the toe of the face to the road.
This will maintain the historic drainage across the mine. This sloping rate is shallower then what is
found on the property now.
Once mining is complete, the floor area will be shaped and graded leaving the area suitable
of use as an equipment parking area and rangeland.
Weed control will be implemented by our concentrate on controlling the noxious weeds on
the reclaimed area following normal MRCS recommendations.
