McAtee Construction CO. Page 2
Riverside Pit M- 1976 -056
Partial Release
March 3, 2014
would have to be seeded. We propose removing everything east of
the Centerline of the Lowline Ditch or that area that is cross
hatched on attached map.
To support this request we have included copies of 2 Septem-
ber 17, 2013 airphotos showing the flooded area one day after it
reached Sterling. These photos show how the river was flowing
thru the mine and the area affected by the flood waters. A the
rough outline of the existing permit line (green outline) and the
Lake Robert area (yellow outline) were added so you have a
reference of the are we have described. The release of Lake
Robert will reduce the permit area by 22.72 acres leaving the
total permitted area as 63.63 acres ±.
Please call me when you are ready to do the site inspection
so I can accompany you at that time.
Sincerely,
Darren Gebhart
Construction Manager
cc Environment, Inc.
File.
enclosures
