D. Equipment and Vehicles. Describe that which is proposed for use in your operation (Examples: <br />drill, dozer, wash plant, mill, etc.). Include: sizes, capacity, frequency of use, etc. <br />Trailer- Mounted Rotary Drill Drill trailer mounted Longyear 44. Drill pipe on specially designed trailer. <br />Water pump trailer mounted. Equipment moved to drill sites by a 4 -wheel drive articulated rubber tire <br />"Oregon" tractor. Drill served by two 4 -wheel drive vehicles; a round trip a day for each vehicle. Crews will <br />be housed and fed off Forest Service lands. Logging and geologic supervision, two geologists; one trip per day <br />to drfll and core sheds. <br />E. Structures. Include information about fixed or portable structures or facilities planned for the <br />operation. Show locations on the map. Include such things as living quarters, storage sheds, mill <br />buildings, thickener tanks, fuel storage, powder magazines, pipelines, water diversions, trailers, <br />sanitation facilities including sewage disposal, etc. Include engineering design and geotechnical <br />information for project facilities, justification and calculations for sizing of tanks, pipelines and <br />water diversions, etc. <br />All drill and supporting equipment is temporary and will be removed on completion of drilling. Cuttings <br />logging sheds will be mounted on old building foundation on mill sit claim. Power supplied by _portable <br />generator. Sheds will contain logging bench and splitting equipment. Cuttings will be stored permanently <br />off site. <br />V. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION MEASURES (SEE 36 CFR 228.8) <br />A. Air Quality. Describe measures proposed to minimize impacts on air quality such as obtaining a <br />burning permit for slash disposal or dust abatement on roads. <br />Drill and support, such as pumps and generator, diesel or gasoline powered. No fuel will be stored on sites — <br />served by tanks in pick -up trucks. No burning will be allowed at drill or logging sites. All trash will be bagged <br />and transported from sites, and disposed of at licensed disposal sites. <br />(If more space is needed to fill out a block of information, use additional sheets and attach form) <br />10 <br />
