The total number of acres seeded or planted and not released from Phase III bond within <br />the NH1 and NH2 permit area is 519.83. NH1 started mining activities in 2012 under <br />Permit C- 2010 -089. <br />Grazing NH2 Areas <br />Grazing operations on NH1- None were conducted due to Mining operations. <br />This area is currently included in two Coal Mine Permits held by WFC; C- 1981 -008 and <br />C- 2010 -089. WFC is currently working with the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and <br />Safety (DRMS) to remove this area from Permit C- 1981 -008. All NH1 activities are <br />covered under the Annual Reclamation Report for Permit C- 2010 -089, Western Fuels <br />Colorado, LLC, New Horizon North Mine. <br />Grazing operations on NH2 Permit Area <br />The Burbridge Family operation: <br />• Approximately 8 bovine and 2 horses on 44 acres October 15, 2012 - December <br />15, 2012 <br />• Added 10 bovine for a total of 18 bovine and 2 horses on 44 acres December 16, <br />2012 -April 13, 2013 <br />o Started Y2 feed supplementing December 23, 2012 <br />o Started full feed supplementing January 14, 2013 <br />• Approximately 12 bovine on 33 acres October 12, 2013 - December 7, 2013 <br />• Approximately 14 bovine and 2 horses on 44 acres December 8, 2013* <br />o Started an approximately 10 percent feed supplement on December 8, <br />2013 <br />*Mr. Elmer Brubridge stated that he would likely be removing this operation from the 44 <br />acres in mid -April 2014. <br />The Garvey operation: <br />• Approximately 81 bovine on 45 acres December 29, 2013 ** <br />* *Stan Garvey stated that he should be removing the operation in late January 2014. <br />This will coincide with the grazing report that is generated from 2013 field production. <br />The Staats Family operation: <br />• Approximately 231 bovine on 27 * ** acres December 13, 2012 - January 24,2013 <br />** *The bovine were allowed to pasture on a total of 110 acres; 27 acres within the NH2 <br />Mine Permit and 83 acres off the Mine Permit. Both areas include several acres of non - <br />managed pasture such as ditches, swales and roadsides that will provide forage. <br />These non - managed areas are by nature very hard to quantify forage quality and <br />amounts. The Staats and Goforth properties are scheduled to be grazed in the first <br />quarter of 2014. <br />The Guires operation: <br />Guires have not grazed in the 2013 fall season but plan to in early 2014. <br />The Reference Area: <br />Grazing operations have not started for the 2013 -2014 season.
