Additional Monitoring Requirements
On the effective date of this certification, the Angus Dei lode claim facility is subject to the monitoring requirements discussed
below at each discharge point of stormwater from the facility.
Monitoring frequency: The permittee must collect samples of stormwater discharge from the facility once per quarter unless
otherwise directed by the Division.
Measurable Storm Event: For this certification, monitoring is only required once per quarter, regardless of the number of
measureable storm events. However, if additional samples are collected during the quarter, these additional samples must also
be included in the DMR summary as described below.
Rain event. Permittees must conduct monitoring, as specified in the Monitoring Requirements table above, on a storm event
that results in an actual discharge from the facility (measurable storm event), and that follows the preceding measurable
storm event by at least 72 hours (3 days).
• Snowmelt event. The permittee must conduct snowmelt monitoring at a time when a measurable discharge occurs from the
facility.
Storm Event Information
• Rain event. The permittee must document the information below for each monitored event.
i. The date, time of the start of the discharge, time of sampling, duration (in hours) of the rainfall event, and magnitude (in
inches) of the storm event sampled;
ii. The duration between the storm event sampled and the end of the most recent storm event that produced a discharge.
• Snowmelt monitoring. The permittee must document the date of the sampling event for each monitored snowmelt event.
