to the mill. All of the Detention Ponds will be installed during the construction phase and will be
maintained through the duration of mining operations.
Existing Waste Rock Stockpile
The existing Waste Rock Stockpile will be relocated from the east side of the site to the North
side of the site. Straw wattles will be placed around the perimeter of the stockpile to filter runoff
and of silt and sediment. Silt Fencing will also be present on the north and northeast sides of the
Waste Rock Stockpile.
Topsoil Stockpile
All topsoil removed during the construction phase will be stockpiled at the southwest corner of
the site, stabilized with vegetation through seeding within fourteen days of completion of
stockpiling, and will remain until reclamation activities take place. Straw wattles will be placed
around the perimeter of the topsoil stockpile to filter silt and sediment from run on and runoff.
New Over Burden/ Waste Stockpile
All overburden and waste rock removed through the mining operation will be stockpiled near the
eastern boundary of the site. Straw wattles will be placed around the perimeter of the stockpile to
filter runoff and run on and implement sediment control.
Temporary Concrete Washout Structure
A Temporary Concrete Washout Structure will be located in Pond # 1 or #3 and used only during
the construction of the ore storage pad. Concrete Washout material will not enter the site
drainage system or surface water. After completion of the ore storage pad and washout
procedures, wash water will be allowed to evaporate. Remaining solids will be removed from the
pond and disposed of properly offsite.
Ore Storage Pad
The Ore Storage Pad will be constructed near the center of the site, immediately north of the
mine portal with a footprint of 33 feet by 45 feet and will be used to stockpile mined Uranium
and Vanadium until it is transported off -site to the processing mill. The ore pad will feature three
foot containment walls on three sides of the pad. The fourth side will feature a drive over berm to
allow access by a wheeled front end loader. Rebar reinforced concrete with angle iron anchors
bolted at the corners of the entry and back corners will be used to construct the base of the
structure. The base will have a one percent slope and a channel drain that will span the width of
the pad and penetrate the containment wall to allow captured stormwater to drain into the
adjacent Pond #2 through a pipe with a downspout.
rel
