Shift: Day/Night Ambient Temperature Range (F): Low: 167 to 31'F ( + / -) High: 26 °F to 48 °F AMEC CQA: Personnel On -site through the Reporting Period (See Attachment A). AMES: Due to snowfall and slick haul routes, night shift operations were canceled Friday (3/26/2010) and both shifts Saturday (3/27/2010). CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES and PROGRESS: II) EARTHWORKS A) Stripping 1) VLF Topsoil stripping was performed during clay excavation using one CAT D -8 dozer and one CAT 330 excavator at the East Cresson Clay Borrow. Haulage of topsoil to the East Cresson Clay Borrow topsoil stockpile continued using tandem -axel haul trucks. B) Subgrade Preparation 1) VLF No work performed during the week. C) Slope Contouring 1) VLF Slope contouring was performed in the following areas: between stations A22 +00 ( + / -) and A25 +00 ( + / -), approximately 0 to 200 feet left of centerline; between stations A54 +00 ( + / -) and A60 +00 ( + / -), approximately 50 to 100 feet right of centerline; between stations H0 +00 ( + / -) and H6 +00 ( + / -), approximately 75 feet left of centerline to 200 feet right of centerline; and between stations J6 +00 ( + / -) and J16 +00 ( + / -), approximately 150 to 200 feet right of centerline. Slope contouring was performed using various CAT dozers. Material generated as the cut progressed was pushed down the slope. VLF Weekly Report WE 03.27.10.D.doc
