The proposed maximum pumping rate of the well is 180 gallons per minute.
6. The proposed average annual amount of ground water to be appropriated is 291 acre-feet.
7. The proposed well would withdraw ground water from the Cheyenne aquifer (hereinafter
"aquifer") which is located at approximately 627 feet below✓ land surface and extends to
approximately 702 feet below land surface.
8. According to the application, the applicant owns, or has consent to withdraw ground water
underlying 1480 acres of land as further described attached Exhibit A. The quantity of water
in the Cheyenne aquifer, exclusive of artificial recharge, underlying the 1480 acres of land
described in Exhibit A is 11,100 acre-feet. This determination was based on a specific yield
Oil 10 percent and an average thickness of 75 feet of the saturated aquifer materials
underlying the land under consideration. The annual amount of ground water that can be
appropriated to assure a 100 year aquifer life is 111 acre-feet.
