Memo to PCPC <br /> Re: SUP No. 1999-002 <br /> June 9, 1999 <br /> Page 24 <br /> manufacturing plant will be subject to the requirements and regulations of <br /> several federal and State agencies overseeing the health and safety impacts of <br /> the operation, which should provide reasonable means to create an environment <br /> that is harmonious with the surrounding properties. <br /> (d) The special use will not adversely affect the public health, safety, or <br /> welfare. <br /> Staff: If operated according to the conditions of approval and the rules and <br /> regulations of the other federal and State agencies having jurisdiction over the <br /> facility, the proposed special use will not adversely affect the public health, <br /> safety, or welfare. <br /> OTHER REQUIREMENTS <br /> The special use is subject to the rules and regulations of several Federal, State, and <br /> local agencies. These may include the Mined Land Reclamation Board and Mined <br /> Reclamation Division of the Department of Natural Resources, The Army Corps of <br /> Engineers, the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission and Water Quality Control <br /> Division of the Department of Public Health and Environment, the Air Quality Control <br /> Division, The Colorado Department of Transportation, the City-County Health <br /> Department, as well as other agencies which may have jurisdiction. <br /> The applicant shall be required to submit a parking plan and/or sign permit for any <br /> buildings or signs to be placed upon the premises. The parking plan shall address the <br /> need for parking spaces generated from the structure and activities. The required <br /> spaces must be installed prior to authorization of the Certificate of Occupancy. The <br /> sign Permit shall be required for any signs to be placed at the plant-site which advertise <br /> the business. Applications for the above are available at the Department of Planning <br /> and Development. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends APPROVAL of Special Use Permit No. 1999-002 with the following <br /> conditions and notation: <br /> Conditions: <br /> �.
