A CAT D -8 dozer and a CAT 980 front -end loader were used to process the material. <br />Location <br />Week <br />um)lative <br />�o <br />Comments <br />(tons) <br />Dump 4 LVSCF Processing <br />- <br />- <br />uantit unavailable <br />The quantity of LVSCF processed was unavailable from Ames. <br />H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines <br />Construction of the ADR/Crushing waterlines continued backfilling tie -in areas and testing of the <br />new system. <br />I) Miscellaneous <br />No work performed during the week. <br />III) Underground Workings <br />A) Drilling <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Mine Shaft /Stope Remediation <br />Remediation of Underground Workings #3006 and #3007 (Thompson shaft) began using a CAT <br />330 excavator to prepare the workings for a concrete plug. The working walls were laid back into <br />competent rock at approximately a 1.5:1 slope. Remediation was observed by an AMEC <br />representative constantly. <br />C) Lateral/Slot Remediation <br />No work performed during the week. <br />IV) Storm Water Management Structures <br />A) Control Structures <br />No work performed during the week. <br />B) Best Management Practices <br />Best Management Practices are being observed throughout the Phase 5 VLF Project. Storm water <br />controls were maintained throughout the week. Precipitation not substantial throughout the week. <br />V) VLF Primary Underdrain <br />Construction of the primary underdrain continued using a CAT D -10 dozer to rip frost in the area. The <br />frost and overburden material was loaded into CAT 777 haul trucks using a John Deere 850 excavator <br />and hauled to the overburden stockpile area east of the east perimeter road near stations A29 +00 ( + / -) <br />to A32 +00 ( + / -) right of centerline. <br />VLF Weekly Report WE 01.30.10.D.doc <br />
