A CAT D -8 dozer and a CAT 980 front -end loader were used to process the material.
Due to previously processed material being out of project specifications, reprocessing of the LVSCF
material was performed. Changes were made to the screen set on the processing plant and material
being generated is now within project specifications. The quantity of material produced will start over
from when the reprocessing began.
H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines
Pipe trench excavation and bedding was performed throughout the week for the Crushing
waterline using a CAT 330 excavator and a CAT 966 front -end loader. The pipe bedding material
was moisture conditioned and compacted using the bucket of the CAT 330 excavator.
Approximately 40 linear feet of pipe trench was excavated and bedded during the week.
Removal of the old ADR waterline and old ADR water tank was finished using CAT excavators
and a 40 -ton articulating truck.
Hydrostatic testing of the new Crushing waterline was performed, in observance of and AMEC
representative, with passing results.
I) Miscellaneous
Test pitting was performed for a geotechnical investigation using a CAT 330 excavator at the Ajax
exploration - building site.
III) Underground Workings
A) Drilling
No work performed during the week.
B) Mine Shaft /Stope Remediation
Remediation of Underground Workings #3006 and #3007 (Thompson shaft) began using a CAT
330 excavator to prepare the workings for a concrete plug. The working walls were laid back into
competent rock at approximately a 1.5:1 slope. Remediation was observed by an AMEC
representative constantly.
VLF Weekly Report WE 01.23.10.D.doc
eek
This Week o
umulative
Location
Comments
s
Dump 4 LVSCF Processing
-
-
uanti unavailable
Due to previously processed material being out of project specifications, reprocessing of the LVSCF
material was performed.
