A CAT D -8 dozer and a CAT 980 front -end loader were used to process the material. H) ADR and Crusher Waterlines Pipe trench excavation and bedding was performed throughout the week for the Crushing waterline using a CAT 330 excavator and a CAT 966 front -end loader. The pipe bedding material was moisture conditioned and compacted using the bucket of the CAT 330 excavator. Approximately 75 linear feet of pipe trench was excavated and bedded during the week. Preparations for ADR waterline tie -ins were performed throughout the shift. Exposure of existing waterlines was performed near stations A24 +00 ( + / -) and E22 +00 ( + / -). The 12" HDPE temporary tie -in was performed, near station E22 +00 ( + / -), was performed Friday January 8, 2010. I) Miscellaneous Haul road construction was performed into the East Cresson Clay Borrow area using two 40 -ton articulating haul trucks loaded with adjacent material by a CAT 966 front -end loader.
