The road along Taylor Creek was passable when temperatures were cold, <br />but not when warmer temperatures caused the road to turn to mud. <br />The 114 shovel is staged to begin work on the south end of the proposed haul road. <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br />In the East Pit, some rills were seen near the Final East Pit Ditch, many near the transition between <br />reclamation and areas that have not been reclaimed. <br />The West Pit reclamation area was viewed from the runaway truck ramp and no gullies or other problems were <br />identified. <br />SLIDES AND OTHER DAMAGE <br />The slump above East Taylor Pond appears to have stabilized. <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br />The following facilities were inspected: the fuel island, fuel storage, Mag Chloride tanks, raw and potable <br />water tanks, ANFO and emulsion tanks, and the South Taylor lot. Berms below two areas have been <br />compromised: below the West Pit parking lot and below the water tanks.
