(STELE ROSE ONE,Inc.) <br /> 110(2)Limited Impact Operations <br /> Mine(M-2006-31) <br /> 6.3.4 Exhibit D—Reclamation Plan <br /> (1) <br /> a) Overburden shall be replaced on an ongoing basis;maximum depth not to <br /> exceed 32 feet. <br /> b) Maximum gradient of reclaimed slopes shall be 3:1;as the proposed <br /> reclamation area is essentially flat,actual natural recontouring will approach <br /> 1:1. <br /> c) The site shall be revegetated on an ongoing basis as follows: <br /> 1. Refilling mined pits and trenches with overburden and at least 6 inches <br /> of reclaimed topsoil. <br /> 2.Refilled mined pits and trenches shall be recontoured to a natural <br /> setting,raked,roughened,reseeded by broadcast or mechanical drilling <br /> with appropriate application rates(i.e.broadcast requires twice as much <br /> seed)with FS approved seed. Reseeded areas will be covered with <br /> straw and mechanically crimped as necessary. No fertilizer shall be <br /> used. <br /> 3.Forest Service Approved Mix for Dry/High Elevation Mix shall be <br /> used as follows: <br /> 20%Mountain Brome <br /> 20%Bottlebrush Squirreltail <br /> 20%Thick Spike Wheatgrass <br /> 18%Great Basin Wild Rye <br /> 15%Sheep Fescue <br /> 5%Sandberg Bluegrass <br /> 2%Prairie Juegrass <br /> 4. This mixture shall be applied at a rate of 3,o ft per acre(broadcast)or <br /> 201bs per acre(drilled). See FS P.O.O. <br /> 5. If necessary,reseeded areas will be covered with straw and <br /> mechanically crimped as necessary. See#4 above. <br /> 6.
