Notice of Termination of Jurisdiction
<br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has issued a proposed a decision to
<br />terminate its jurisdiction over the Coal Basin Mines, Permit No. C- 1981 -017. The underground
<br />operation was approved in 1983 and operated by Mid - Continent Resources under the provisions of
<br />the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. In 1993, the permit was revoked and the
<br />bond was forfeited. The area included in this decision is located in Pitkin County, approximately
<br />4 miles West of Redstone, Colorado as described below:
