7
7
J
7
J
7
7
7
1
56
1 existence.
2 Now they have taken the Barx soils
3 off the property, put it on Bud Benson's property,
4 and there is nothing to equal that Barx soils. As
5 Jim -- I think Dave Deerstein has stated, you cannot
6 duplicate the Barx soils.
7 You can provide a substitute soil
8 that can have good root growth and you may be able
9 to grow something, but it will never be equal to or
10 better than what was in that natural existence, the
11 Barx soils.
12 So as the answer to can it be
13 reclaimed properly, no. It's unlike the properties
14 on the east side of 2700 Road, which, by the way, I
15 am the one that farmed it, irrigated it, planted it,
16 seeded it, Colo -Pac'd it. Everything.
17 All that property I put back, and I
18 know better than anyone how it was put back and what
19 it took to put it back.
20 So the properties east of 2700 Road,
21 yes, they're probably put back as good or better
22 than they were with the exception you cannot go back
23 to furrow irrigating over there because of all the
24 hills, the dips, the rolls. So we did initiate and
25 put in side rolls on that half of the property.
