Insure that there are no <br /> exposed metallic pipes, conduits, or other items that will be in contact with the flowable fill after <br /> placement. If so, replace with non-metallic materials or apply manufacturers recommended coating <br /> to protect metallic objects before placing the flowable fill. Replacement or protection of metallic <br /> objects is subject to the approval of the CERTIFYING ENGINEER <br /> 3.03 CLEANING <br /> All form materials and debris resulting from construction shall be disposed of as directed by MANAGER. <br /> 3.04 CURING <br /> A. General: <br /> 1. Concrete shall be protected from loss of moisture for at least seven(7)days after placement. <br /> 2. Curing may be accomplished with water or a curing compound. <br /> 3. Water or curing compound shall be applied to formed surfaces within one(1)hour of form <br /> stripping. <br /> B. Water Curing: <br /> 1. Water saturation of unformed surfaces shall begin as quickly as possible after initial set of <br /> the concrete. <br /> 2. The rate of water application shall be regulated to provide complete surface coverage with a <br /> minimum of runoff. <br /> 3. Concrete surfaces shall not be permitted to become dry during the curing period. <br /> C. Curing Compound: <br /> 1. Curing compound shall be spray-applied at the MANUFACTURER's recommended <br /> coverage rate. <br /> 2. Unformed surfaces shall be covered within 30 minutes after final finishing. <br /> 3. Curing compound shall be protected against abrasion during the curing period. <br /> 3.05 SCHEDULES <br /> CONTRACTOR shall notify MANAGER at least forty-eight(48)hours before each concrete placement. <br /> 3.06 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br /> A. Concrete testing will be performed by CONTRACTOR. <br /> B.
