Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company
Mill Site Earthworks Project
Final Report ameO
Duality Assurance Monitoring &Test Results
January 31, 2014
4.1.2 Moisture Content
AMEC measured the moisture contents of UFM, CSB, SSF, PBM, SLF, and DCF as
part of the CQA program. Moisture content data is presented in Appendix HA and
Tables 5 through 11.
4.1.3 Atterberg Limits
AMEC performed Atterberg limits testing of the fill materials. All fill materials, with the
exception of SLF, were non - plastic. The UFM, CSB, SSF, PBM, OVF, SLF, and DCF
samples tested met Project Specifications for Atterberg limits. Atterberg limits test
data is presented in Appendix H.1.
AMEC performed two CQA Atterberg limits test of UFM. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 262 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing
frequency of one test per 5,000 cubic yards. The CQA Atterberg limits performed on
UFM met Project Specifications; the results are presented in Appendix HA and
summarized in Table 5.
AMEC performed one CQA Atterberg limits tests of CSB. The CQA Atterberg limits
performed on CSB met Project Specifications; the results are presented in Appendix
H.1 and summarized in Table 6.
AMEC performed four CQA Atterberg limits tests of SSF. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 1,265 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified
testing frequency of one test per 50,000 cubic yards. The SSF CQA Atterberg limits
met Project Specifications; the results are presented in Appendix H.1 and summarized
in Table 7.
AMEC performed one CQA Atterberg limits tests of PBM. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 500 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified testing
frequency of one test per 10,000 cubic yards. The PBM CQA Atterberg limits met
Project Specifications; the results are presented in Appendix H.1 and summarized in
Table 8.
AMEC performed 164 CQA Atterberg limits tests of OVF. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 36,929 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified
testing frequency of one test per 50,000 cubic yards. The OVF CQA Atterberg limits
met Project Specifications; the results are presented in Appendix H.1 and summarized
in Table 9.
AMEC performed 32 CQA Atterberg limits tests of SLF. The testing frequency
(approximately one test per 1,692 cubic yards) exceeded the minimum specified
testing frequency of one test per 4,000 cubic yards. The CQA Atterberg limits
performed of SLF met Project Specifications; the results are presented in Appendix
H.1 and summarized in Table 10.
15
