Baseline Hydrologic Monitoring Plan — Hansen Project 33
Figure 11. Examples of Area - Velocity Measurement using a Flow Probe at Station SW21-
SQ and SW08 -CO
3.6 Reporting
The monitoring results are reviewed after they are received from the analytical laboratory, and a QC
evaluation is completed for each laboratory batch. QA/QC procedures outlined in the QAPP (Appendix G)
are followed to ensure that data generated by the monitoring program are representative for the sampled
locations. Important aspects of the QA/QC program include establishment of data quality objectives and
criteria, protocols for sample collection, submission of field duplicate samples and field blanks, methods
for data evaluation, record keeping, equipment calibration and testing, and review and verification of data.
Data generated by the baseline surface water monitoring program are compiled in a database and verified for
accuracy by comparing the original value from the laboratory data sheets to the entered value. Results will be
compared to Colorado instream water quality standards.
The compiled data will be presented in quarterly interim monitoring reports, which will combine the results
of the Surface Water and Groundwater Baseline Characterization Programs. The report will include
descriptions of the monitoring wells along with field data sheets, laboratory data sheets, and tabular
summaries of field parameters and laboratory results.
The data will be compiled and interpreted in a baseline water resources technical report The baseline water
resources technical report will summarize all laboratory results, provide statistical analysis, present Piper
4153A.140129 Whetstone Associates
