Case Narrative <br />Client: Coors Energy Company <br />Project/Site: Coors - Keenesburg Mine, CO 80643 <br />Job ID: 280 - 36986 -1 (Continued) <br />Laboratory: TestAmerica Denver (Continued) <br />TestAmerica Job ID: 280 - 36986 -1 <br />HARDNESS <br />Samples FPW (280- 36986 -1), AMW -1 (280- 36986 -2), DH -96 (280- 36986 -3), DH -122 (280- 36986 -4), SMW -2 (280- 36986 -5) and <br />AMW -2 (280- 36986 -6) were analyzed for hardness in accordance with a calculated method. The samples were analyzed on <br />12/24/2012. <br />No difficulties were encountered during the Hardness analyses. <br />All quality control parameters were within the acceptance limits. <br />CORROSIVITY (PH) <br />Samples FPW (280- 36986 -1), AMW -1 (280- 36986 -2), DH -96 (280- 36986 -3), DH -122 (280- 36986 -4), SMW -2 (280- 36986 -5) and <br />AMW -2 (280- 36986 -6) were analyzed for corrosivity (pH) in accordance with SM 4500 H+ B. The samples were analyzed on <br />12/14/2012. <br />No difficulties were encountered during the pH analyses. <br />All quality control parameters were within the acceptance limits. <br />REVISION (1111/13) <br />Based on historical data, the client requested that the Bicarbonate result for sample AMW -1 (280- 36986 -2) be verified. The <br />sample was originally run with a result of 240mg /L; however, the method blank contained a detection and required re- analysis. It <br />has been determined that due to analyst error, the sample was inadvertently switched with SMW -2.
