Map 22 -J Pond J Detail: <br />a) Section B -B' of the revised map shows the secondary dewatering pipe being buried in <br />the embankment. Is BRL proposing to abandon this dewatering pipe, or was it <br />inadvertently moved on the drawing? <br />b) Please provide additional details on the secondary dewatering pipe, indicating the <br />valve location on the drawings and the inlet and outlet elevations under Note #4. <br />c) Please correct Note 1 to indicate that the design information for the ponds and ditches <br />(please also add "culverts ") is located in Appendix a of Volume XI. <br />d) The details of Section A -A' and B -B' conflict on the full sediment level. A -A' indicates it is <br />5848'; B -B' is 5850'. Please verify the full sediment level and revise the map <br />appropriately. <br />e) On the plan view provided for Pond J, the contour lines are too light to distinguish, so <br />we are unable to view the contour lines to verify the capacity of the pond. Please <br />provide a revised plan view so that the contours of the basin are visible. <br />f) The plan view provided for Pond J indicates that the scale is 1" = 50'. The bar scale <br />within the view shows 1" = 30'. Please verify and correct the scales for the Pond I plan <br />view. <br />g) The Ditch H1 detail indicates that there will be 10" rip rap lining the channel. The design <br />information on page App. B -8 shows 3" rip rap. Please revise the Ditch H1 detail to be <br />consistent with the design information on page App. 8 -8. <br />h) Minimum Ditch Depth Requirements Table, lower middle of map - the ditch depth and <br />flow depth shown for Ditches J2, J4, J7, J17, J18, and J19 are inconsistent with the <br />designs on page App. B -18, B -47, B -49, B -23, B -24, and B -26, respectively. Please revise <br />the Ditch Depth Requirements Table on Map 22J to be consistent with the designs in <br />Appendix 8 of Volume XI. <br />i) The list of ditches under the Trapezoidal Ditch heading needs to be revised to include <br />Ditches J10 and 111, and remove the -2 and -3 extensions from ditches !8 and J9. <br />41. Map 32 — Topsoil Distribution Plan - Please explain why the replacement depth for the F1 <br />topsoil stockpile distribution area is being changed, and demonstrate that this change is <br />consistent with the requirements of Rule 4.06.4(2)(a). <br />42.
