The Stability Analysis section on Page 11 of Volume XI refers to a Bucl<horn report dated 26- <br />Oct -2006, as does Bucl<horn's 29- Mar -2007 report that was approved under TR -45. The <br />Division is unable to locate a copy of the 2006 report among the Division's records. Was <br />this report officially approved under a specific revision? If it is not currently in the permit, <br />please include this report as a proposed addition to the permit application package. If it is <br />currently incorporated into the approved permit application package, please tell us where <br />it is located. (Rule 2.05.3(8)(a)(ii)(D)) <br />Revised Maps <br />35. Map 15 -1 Mine Facilities: <br />a) Cross Section D -D' is drawn through Gob Pile #3. This line, which appears on Vol. XI <br />Figure 1, should probably be removed from this map. <br />b) In the upper right -hand corner, a partial view of Gob Pile #4 appears. The details do not <br />reflect those found on Map 15 -3, which was updated later. Please revise Map 15 -1 to <br />be consistent with the proposed Map 15 -3. <br />c) The Haul Road which runs from SH 1338 to the gob pile should be labeled. (Rule <br />2.10.1(1)) <br />d) The scale in the lower right -hand corner says "half inch ", when "one inch" is probably <br />intended. Please verify the scale of Map 15 -1 and revise as necessary. <br />e) The legend on this map includes designations (cross- hatching) for gob piles and <br />identifies the edge of Gob Pile #1 that is depicted in the northeastern section of the <br />map. Please add a designation for Gob Pile #3 and add the appropriate symbol over <br />Gob Pile #3. <br />36. Map 15 -3 Mine Facilities - Please revise the legend to include a symbol for Gob Pile #3, <br />using a different symbol or color than the one used for Gob Pile #2, since the location of <br />the supporting documentation does not reside in Volume IX. Conversely, BRL can use the <br />same symbol and coloring for all of the gob piles, but remove the volume reference from <br />the legend and leave it in the bubbles on the gob piles. <br />37. Map 18 Postmining Topography — Please revise the Design Ditch Details table to include a <br />bottom width for Ditches J8 and J10 (3.0'). <br />38. Map 21 -1 Drainage Plans: <br />a) See comment b) for Map 15 -1 <br />b) See comment c) for Map 15 -1 <br />39. Map 21 -3 Drainage Plans: <br />a) The revised map provides two labels for the ditch entering Pond J from the west. It <br />appears that the label D -J16 (in red) is in error and should be removed. Please verify <br />the correct label for this ditch and remove the extraneous label. <br />
