Box 191 • 100 North 3'" Street <br />Victor, Colorado 80860 <br />(719) 689 -2977 — Fax (719) 689 -3254 <br />SENT CERTIFIED, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED <br />70110470 0000 4833 9032 <br />RE: Supplemental Information - Permit No. M- 1980 -244; Cripple Creek & Victor Gold <br />Mining Company ( "CC &V "); Cresson Project; — Request for Technical Revision <br />( "TR -69 ") Squaw Mountain Radio Tower. <br />Dear Mayor Hakes, <br />Enclosed please find enclosed a copy of the supplemental information provided to the State of <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety ( "DRMS ") for Technical Revision No. <br />69 ( "TR -69 ") to Amendment No. 10 to Permit M- 1980 -244. <br />The DRMS review of TR -60 identified that because the proposed new site for the radio relay <br />tower was inside the Amendment 10 boundary but outside the proposed zone of disturbance, <br />CC &V needed to do a swap of disturbed areas reducing the South Cresson section of the Main <br />Cresson mining area by an equivalent amount needed for the new radio relay tower. The <br />attached correspondence with DRMS shows the removal of a 0.5 acre area of disturbance <br />permitted under Amendment 10.
