As seen in the aerial photographs coal was also being loaded onto trucks and hauled to the
power plant at the time of the flyover. Haul roads and access roads were free of snow cover due to all of the
activity at the site. Roads were in relatively good condition given the amount of recent snowmelt.
SUPPORT FACILITIES -Rule 4.04:
The facilities area constructed in the southeast corner of the permit area was inspected. WFC has proposed some
changes to the structure inventory for the facilities with TR-05. This is currently under review by the Division.
The facilities presently include a trailer/office,heavy equipment, and a temporary diesel storage tank. A new
secondary containment for the fuel storage with liner is being constructed. The office and facilities area were well
kept. Perimeter areas at these locations were maintained, and no problems were noted at any of the various
support facilities during this inspection.
SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02:
Mine identification signs were properly displayed at mine site entrances. The annual AVS inspection was
conducted. Information on the mine's permit identification sign was found to be consistent with information
obtained by direct inquiry of Mr. Ross Gubka.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED
None
OTHER(SPECIFY)
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2
Page 3 of 6
