Exhibit J: Vegetation Information <br />A) The present all grass vegetation for the mine area is switchgrass, prairie sandreed, sand <br />bluestem, inland saltgrass, and needle and thread. The grasses range from 2 inches to 30 inches <br />in height depending on variety. <br />B) The native grasses seen on subject are seen in the area directly adjacent to Upper Big Sandy <br />Creek. The land is sandy and has a high water table when compared to the upland short grass <br />prairie grasses further away from the creek bottom. <br />C) The estimated carrying capacity of the creek bottom range in livestock animal unit months <br />(AUMs) would be 0.4 to 0.7. <br />
