the new development meets the terms of that agreement, to make a minor modification to the
Cresson Project Mine Development Plan ( "MDP ") and apply for appropriate building permits for
the tower complex.
CC &V is planning to construct the facilities in early January 2014, following approval of this TR
by the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety ( "DRMS ") and appropriate
approvals from Teller County.
Radio Tower Site, Road and Power Line
The radio site equipment includes a pre- engineered Rohn Tower, model 25G which is 40 feet
tall, and a Motorola model PTP 600 operating in the 5.86 GHz unlicensed band located as per the
attached revised C -3 and C -4 drawings previously cited. The radio unit will be attached to the
tower.
The road to the tower on Squaw Mountain would come off the AGVLF Phase 5 perimeter road
and curves along the north to east side of Squaw Mountain along a corridor that keeps it largely
inside the tree line and within the AM 10 permit boundary.
CC &V has had a third party financial warrantee review completed by Mr. Mike Ellis of Ellis
Engineering for this TR (see attached). That evaluation suggests that the AM10 financial
warranty for the Cresson Project should be increased by $19,909 to cover this addition to the
project. Currently, AM10 included a provision for a total financial warranty posting of
$171,433,305 with a subsequent revision to $173,000,000. Approval of TR -69 will increase the
total financial warranty posting to $171,453,214 for the Cresson Project. The current unallocated
bond amount for the Cresson Project is $999,128. The estimated TR -69 amount of $19,909
applied against CC &V's current unallocated bond amount results in a new unallocated bond
amount of $979,219.
A check in the amount of $1,006 for this technical revision request is attached.
Please contact me at (719)- 689 -4055 should you have questions or wish to discuss this request
for a technical revision.
Sincerely,
Timm Comer
Manager, Environmental Resources
xc: Lor Pellegrino, Teller County Planning
Byron Hakes, Mayor, City of Victor
Attachments: Referenced Drawings and warrantee estimate
Enclosure: Check No. 132595
