Relocation
of this radio tower would include building a new access road and installation of a new power line
to the new radio tower site that was not included in the original application for AM10.
The radio relay site is current located within the disturbance boundary of the South Cresson
portion of the Main Cresson mining area at a location north of the "Ajax" Exploration Building.
It is being proposed as part of this Technical Revision ( "TR ") to relocate this radio tower relay to
a new location on the high point of Squaw Mountain, supported by an access road and power line
(see attached drawings C -3 Proposed Facilities Buildings and Utilities and C -4 Proposed
Facilities, Overburden and Mines). While this TR is entirely within the permit boundary of the
AM10, it was not mentioned in the MLE -2 applications. The road and tower site will disturb
ground not previously disturbed by facilities as presented in AM10. This revision describes the
new disturbance and provides an update to the financial warrantee estimation for AM10
The entire footprint of the access road, power line and tower site is approximately 0.41 acres.
All development is on land owned by CC &V with in AM10 permit boundary. This facility
includes a small section of AM10 permit boundary that is also inside the area of the Victor — `
Goldfield Buffer Agreement with Teller County. CC &V is working with Teller County to insure
DEC 112013 ✓ 'F
Division of Keclarr,auon,
Mkft & Safety
