According to the report one <br />exceedance of NPDES effluent criteria occurred during the <br />2012 water year. The 9.0 limit for pH was exceeded during <br />July 2012 with a value of 9.07. <br />Based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety and the Water <br />Quality Control Division (WQCD), the WQCD will be <br />responsible for enforcing CDPS permit conditions. <br />8. Basic Standards for <br />CWQCC regulations <br />The manganese standard was exceeded ten times at Sites <br />Surface Water <br />31.1.11 <br />NPDES2(Pond 012), NPDES13 (Pond 013, and Surface water <br />site YSGS. Based on CWQCC reg. 31, the standard of 0.2 mg /I, <br />applies to plants grown in acidic soils ( <6.0 pH). In alkaline <br />soils, as found throughout the Youast and Seneca 11 W region, <br />
