Liberty Mining, LLC
DRMS 110 -d Permit Application
October 2013
EXHIBIT D RECLAMATION PLAN
D (1) Reclamation Plan
Upon completion of the mining operations, all disturbed areas will be reclaimed to dry rangeland
standards for wildlife habitat, the primary pre- mining land use. The reclaimed area will retain
drainage features constructed during mining operations to divert run -on stormwater and prevent
drainage basin impacts. The area will be restored so that no slope will exceed 3 horizontal feet
to 1 vertical foot (3:1), unless necessary to match existing adjacent slopes of the original
topography. Access roads to the site will be upgraded during mining operations and will be left
open for recreational access after the mine has been reclaimed.
The estimated time of mine occupancy and reclamation can be found below, in Table D (1.a).
The occupancy of the mine is an estimate, dependent on mineable ore quantity, commodity
pricing, and mill processing costs.
Table D P1.ai
Liberty Mine Activity and Reclamation Timetable
Access and Mining of Liberty Mine Ore Deposit
I 10 years
Post - Mining Site Reclamation
Activity Description
Weeks
Remove Trash and Debris
2
Reclaim the Ore Storage Pad Area
Place Designated Items in Declines, Reclaim and Seal the Liberty
Mine Decline Portals #1 and #2
3
Dismantle and Remove Mining Operations Support Structures
2
Reclaim Stormwater Diversions and Structures
2
Reclaim Waste Rock and Overburden Piles
Prepare Grade, Backfill Portal, Place Topsoil and Harrow (
2
Seed and Place Cleared Vegetation
2
Repair and Upgrade Access Road
2
I
Monitor Reclamation Success (Bi- Annually for Three Years), Re -seed I
as Necessary
156
Total Weeks
691
Total Years
13.3
D (1.a) Overburden Placement
Upon conclusion of mining operations, all overburden and waste rock on the surface of the
mining operations pad will be placed into the underground working to the maximum reasonable
extent.
