incident of Wayne's death. Exhibit #6 (a) through (f) contradicts their <br />statement of no documentation related to the incident. Exhibit #7 (a) letter <br />from DRMS dated September 30, 1986 and (b) letter from DRMS dated <br />November 26, 1986 requests landowner of record to safeguard the mine. <br />It is important to note that several U. S. Senators, Representatives and <br />Agencies sent inquiries to the DRMS concerning Wayne's death. Exhibit #8 <br />example - a copy of an email dated June 28, 2010 from The U. S. <br />Department of Interior, Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and <br />Enforcement, Mr. Ronald Sassaman to DRMS, Mr. Bruce Stover (cc: to <br />Loretta Pineda) requesting information, statute(s) and /or regulations and <br />activities that may or may not be conducted near a grave. To my knowledge <br />there was no response to Mr. Sassaman's request. <br />Extensive documentation confirms that a memorial has been erected and my <br />family and I are satisfied with the present situation. Wayne's brother Don <br />hand tooled a brass plaque and Colorado Senator Gary Hart's office planted <br />an evergreen tree at the memorial site. Exhibit #9 Documents Pennsylvania <br />U. S. Representative Lawrence Coughlin's involvement in June 1986 and <br />indicates that Mr. Nugent of Colorado's Division of Mines will ask me for <br />permission to fill and cap the mine.
