Spring 2013 Subsidence and Geologic Field Observations <br />South of Divide and Dry Fork Mining Areas (E -Seam) <br />Figure 21. Westward view during the spring 2013 of the northeastern edge of the MDW E3 -17.5 <br />pad of subsidence cracks exacerbated by differential settlement of the pad's largest fill area. <br />This vantage point (Figure 22) allows a view of the Deer Creek drainage from its headwater region <br />downstream along most of the drainage to near its confluence with Dry Fork. Views from this <br />location present the topography over the western end of E -seam Longwall Panels E3 through ET <br />Figure 22 will serve as a baseline against which future images will be compared to assess changes. <br />4.16 Photographic Observation Point 7 <br />Approximately 100 feet north of the Photographic Observation Point 6 is another new <br />photographic observation location. This location provides a northeast to south panoramic view <br />(Figure 23) from the Ragged Mountains (background left) to Coal Mountain (background right). <br />This vantage point also allows a view of the upper portions of the Dry Fork drainage and its <br />unnamed tributaries. Views from this location present the topography over the central and eastern <br />portion of E -seam Longwall Panels E3 through ET Figure 23 will serve as a baseline against <br />which future images will be compared to assess changes. <br />831 - 032.795 Wright Water Engineers, Inc.
