Spring 2013 southeasterly view along the eastern edge of the MDW E44 pad of <br />subsidence cracks along the crest of the containment berm and subparallel cracks within the <br />compacted pad itself. Differential settlement is believed to have been a contributing factor in the <br />development of these cracks given the large amount of fill placed beneath this portion of the <br />MDW pad. <br />Figure 10.
