Photographs were taken by Harry Ranney and later analyzed by Marcia <br /> Talvitie, both of the Division. Skies were clear. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> • A water truck was spraying down the haul roads within the disturbed area for dust control. <br /> EXPLOSIVES—Rule 4.08 <br /> Distance Prohibitions 4.08.4; Warnings 4.08.4; Control of Adverse Effects 4.08.4: <br /> • The drill rig was positioned at the eastern end of the first cut. It appeared that the drill <br /> pattern for the next shot was partially completed. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br /> Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures <br /> 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br /> Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments <br /> 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> • The area has received frequent precipitation during this monsoon season. <br /> • The bottom of Pond NHN-001 was covered with water, and there were numerous areas <br /> within the pit area where water had ponded. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> • The mine's shovel was loading a haul truck with Bench 2 overburden that had been blasted. <br /> • Haul trucks were carrying the overburden to the southwestern corner of the boxcut <br /> overburden stockpile,where it was end-dumped and being worked by a bulldozer. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 4 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1 Page 2 of 10 <br />
