Susan Burgmaier -4- September 16, 2013
c. Please revise the table to indicate instances where the constructed ditch lining or culvert is
in excess of the requirement so that it is clear that the larger sizing is not a design
requirement.
BOW2: (a. & b) Page B -2 has been revised to show Culvert F2 as a 30" culvert per the SedCad
design and updated to reflect the triangular ditch design of ditch F16. (c.) Figure 3 has been
revised to show Culvert F2 as a 30" culvert. This is the minimum culvert size the can be used to
safely pass the design event. A larger culvert may be installed, but the design culvert size in
provided on page App. B -2 and Figure 3.
16. DRMS: Volume IX, Figure 3:
a. The contours on the south side of Pond F are difficult to distinguish, and it is not clear where
the primary spillway pipe is located. Please revise the map to differentiate (either color or line
weight) the contours and pipelines on the south side of Pond F and clearly indicate the
location of the primary spillway pipe.
BOW2: The line weight of both the primary spillway pipe and the culvert carrying flow from
the deer trail ditch has been increased in size. In addition, the color of the primary spillway
pipe has been revised. Please see revised Figure 3.
b. Please revise the map so that Culvert C -F4 is listed as a 30" culvert, consistent with the
design information provided by BRL.
BOW2: Please see revised page App. B -2.
c. Please revise the map so that the ditches listed with each cross section (ditch configuration
and lining) are consistent with the submitted designs (Ditch F16 and West Diversion #2 are
inconsistent.)
BOW2: Please see revised Figure 3.
17. DRMS: On Volume IX Figure 1 Section A -A', a cut slope had been shown on the version
approved with TR -76. That line has been removed from the current version. Unless that
information was somehow in error, please restore the line to this section.
BOW2: Please see revised Section A -A' on Figure 1.
18. DRMS: On Volume IX Figure 1 Section D-D', please revise the label for the orange line to
read "Permitted Top of Pile (TR -76)" so that it is clear no changes are being proposed to this
section with TR -81.
BOW2: Please see revised Section D -D' on Figure 1.
19. DRMS: On Volume IX Figure 1 Section E -E', the line colors vary from the system used on
the other sections. Although not required, it would be helpful to have the color scheme be
