Lagged accretions
should be accounted in recharge accretions structures based on source of seepage water -
recharge site seepage (ID 0102529_P1R) or canal seepage (ID 0102529_P1C), as summarized in
Table 2. Canal seepage should be accounted based on simulated ditch losses from all diversions
to recharge when no other supplies (e.g., irrigation) are being run in the ditch.
One recharge water right is used to divert water from the South Platte River into the ditch and
multiple recharge sites (pits) off the Upper Platte & Beaver Canal. The capacity of the ditch and
number and capacities of the pits able to store recharge water is unknown; therefore, the demand
for the recharge water rights should be modeled at one recharge site located at the end of the
Upper Platte & Beaver Canal, as summarized in Table 3.
Table 3
Upper Platte & Beaver Canal Augmentation Plan Recharge Water Rights
i
Di
h
C Recharge Site at end of Capacity / Su 1
arr
er
tc Ditch Target Amount Admin.
