Lagged accretions to the South Platte River from recharge diversions is returned to the river
based on return flow factors and locations defined in StateMod input files. Lagged accretions
should be accounted in recharge accretions structures based on source of seepage water -
recharge site seepage (IDs 6402539_P1R1 and 640539_P1R2) or canal seepage (IDs
6402539 P1C1 and 640539_P1C2), as summarized in Table 2. Canal seepage should be
accounted based on simulated ditch losses from all diversions to recharge when no other supplies
(e.g., irrigation) are being run in the ditch. Canal seepage and recharge seepage associated with
the Logan Well Users plan should be assigned to the various administration reaches based on
spatial location.
Numerous recharge water rights are decreed, and some of these operated under the ditch systems
that are part of the plan. The demand for the recharge water rights associated with the Logan
Well Users plan and surrounding plans should be modeled at seven recharge sites located at the
end of the respective ditches, as summarized in Table 3.
Table 3
Logan Well Users Augmentation Plan System Recharge Water Rights
Di
h Recharge Site at end of Capacity / Su 1
tc Ditch Target Amount Admin.
