Consumptive use for fish and wildlife purposes within each county were added and input <br />to StateCU. <br />Recreati anal <br />Recreational uses are generally considered non-consumptive. Any recreational <br />consumptive uses in the Rio Grande basin are included in other categories. <br />Summary and Conclusions <br />This Procedure Manual describes the data and process used to estimate the following <br />non-agricultural consumptive uses for the CU and Losses Summary: <br />• Livestock Consumptive Use <br />• Reservoir and Stockpond Evaporation <br />• Municipal Consumptive Use <br />• Mineral Resources Use <br />• Thermal-electric Power Generation Use <br />• Exports <br />• Fish and Wildlife <br />• Recreational <br />The annual other (non-agricultural) consumptive use results are summarized for the Rio <br />Grande Basin in Table 16. On average, the Reservoir and Stockpond category accounts <br />for 45% of the total other consumptive use, followed by Fish and Wildlife Use at 40%, <br />Municipal Use at 9%, Livestock at 3%, Export at 2% and Mineral at 1%. Monthly and <br />annual non-agricultural use summaries are shown in Table 17 at the end of this <br />memorandum. Figure 1, also at the end of this memorandum, shows the annual non- <br />agricultural use summary for the Rio Grande basin.
