Also enclosed is a <br /> <br /> <br />copy of the transmittal letter from Cliff Barrett that accompanied this draft <br /> <br /> <br />Hydrologic Determination. <br /> <br />As explained in the transmittal letter, the Bureau plans to hold a <br /> <br /> <br />meeting with the seven Colorado River Basin States in about 45 days to discuss <br /> <br /> <br />the Hydrologic Determination and to receive comments from the States. <br /> <br />During its Special Meeting held in Denver, Colorado on June 2, 1987, the <br /> <br /> <br />Upper Colorado River Commission adopted a resolution regarding the Bureau's <br /> <br /> <br />preliminary results on the "Upper Colorado River Basin Yield Study--Hydro- <br /> <br /> <br />logic Determination." The finding included in the enclosed draft Hydrologic <br /> <br /> <br />Determination seems to be consistent with the Commission's June 2, 1987 <br /> <br /> <br />resolution--i.e. the Upper Basin yield is at least 6.0 million acre-feet <br /> <br /> <br />annually. The Commissioners, after having an opportunity to fully review <br /> <br /> <br />the enclosed document, may want to adopt another resolution and submit <br /> <br /> <br />official comments to the Bureau, <br />
