Dear Mr, Stewart:

This is in response to a request for a revision to the effective Flood Insurance Study (FIS) and National
Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) map for your community, Specifically, this responds to a letter dated
October 5, 1995, from Mr, Curt Parker, P,E" Water Resources Engineer, Transportation Department,
Boulder County, regarding the effective FIS report and Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) for Boulder
County, Colorado and Incorporated Areas. With his letter, Mr, Parker provided additional data to
support a July 27, 1995, request from Mr. Roger L. Mieden, P.E., Drexel Barrell, that the Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) revise the effective FIRM to correct an error in the placement
of an elevation of a flood having a I-percent chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base
flood) along Dry Creek No, 2 Ditch Split Flow just upstream of the Burlington Northern Railroad,

All data required to complete our review of this request were submitted with Mr, Mieden' s July 27 letter ,
Mr, Parker's October 5 letter, and a letter dated September 20, 1995, from Ms, Karen S, Medde, P,E.,
Department of Public Works, City of Boulder, Because this Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) corrects
a mapping error, fees were not assessed for the review.

We have completed our review of the submitted data and the flood data shown on the effective FIRM and
have revised the FIRM to modify the base flood elevation (BFE) along Dry Creek No, 2 Ditch Split Flow
from just upstream to approximately 600 feet upstream of the Burlington Northern Railroad,

As a result of this revision, the BFE shown on the FIRM just upstream of the Burlington Northern
Railroad along Dry Creek No, 2 Ditch Split Flow was corrected from 5,222 feet to 5,220 feet. The
revised BFE reflects the results of the effective hydraulic analysis, The 5,222-foot BFE, incorrectly
shown at the railroad on the effective FIRM, was moved approximately 60v feet upstream, In addition,
the elevation on Profile Panel 116P for Dry Creek was corrected at the Burlington Northern Railroad
from 5,221 feet to 5,220 feet.

The modification is shown on the enclosed annotated copy of FIRM Panel 08013C0415 F and Profile
Panel 116P for Dry Creek, This LOMR hereby revises this panel of the effective FIRM and the Flood
Profile in the FIS report, both dated June 2, 1995,
