As a result of the modifications, the base flood elevations
(BFEs) for Drainageway A increased in some areas, decreased in some areas, and were removed in other
areas, The width of the Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA), the area that would be inundated by the base
flood, increased in some areas and decreased in other areas, and the SFHA from the Burlington Northern
Railway to Jefferson Avenue was removed from the FIRM, All increases in BFE are contained within the
detention pond, The modifications are shown on the enclosed annotated copies of FIRM
Panel(s) 08013C0560 F and 08013C0576 G, This Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) hereby revises
effective FIRM Panel 08013C0560 F dated June 2, 1995, and FIRM Panel 08013C0576 G dated May 6,
1996,

This revision request also affects the City of Lafayette and the unincorporated areas of Boulder County,
Separate LOMRs are not being issued for those communities because the changes within those communities
are limited to the delineation of a flood hazard area designated Zone X (shaded), an area that would be
inundated by the base flood with average base flood depths of less than 1 foot.
